Journalism

Up until August 2007, I was a journalist. I spent four years at Forbes, where I profiled a Queens, New York drug wholesaler, pointed out plenty of inflated penny stocks, dissected the collapse of Internet technology company PubSub amid the bickering of its founders and wrote primers on buying bond funds and mortgage-backed securities.

In addition, I spent much of 2002 and 2003 writing music reviews for AllAboutJazz-New York and The Squid's Ear.

Here you'll find many (and eventually all) of my articles.

The not-yet-complete list of my published articles*, with links where available:
2007 | 2006 | 2005 | 2004 | 2003 | 2002

Please note: As of July 29, 2007, the 2007 page is (mostly) up to date and 2006 is (mostly) done. But others are not. More soon. Until I've cataloged everything here, feel free to search forbes.com for my byline.

*Special, exciting news: Coming soon** is some form of "best of," since skimming through hundreds of my articles might seem daunting.

**Please do not interpret "soon" to mean that this will actually happen soon so much as that I wish that I would put this together soon. As time moves forward, the thankless back-end work that this site needs will continue to recede into the distance along with other no-fun chores like cleaning the windows.
